    Sermon Summary (Pastor Watkins 11-12-17): Lessons Learned When We Follow Jesus to a Deserted Place (Luke 9:10-17 NKJV) When we follow Jesus there will be times when we will be taken off the beaten path to a remote location; If we will pay attention and listen there are some lessons that we can learn while we are in the “desert”. 1. It’s good to have some private quiet time with Jesus (this is a good time for full disclosure). [vs 10] 2. The intentions of Jesus are always to meet our spiritual and physical needs. [vs 11] 3. While we are in our private time we may be called to minister to others. [vs 13] 4. We need to get organized. [vs 14-15] 5. If we take what we have and bless it, break it, and give it we will get a blessing [vs 16] 6. If we follow Jesus, we will receive blessings of overflow. [vs 17]
